Product: 2013-14 Prizm Basketball
Break Date: January 12, 2014
Hit Breakdown: three red/white/blue Mosaic Prizm
Summary: It's been interesting watching the market crash on Prizm parallels. I sold the Noel Mosaic for $75 two weeks ago. Today? The card probably goes for about 10% of that (at best.)
But, I haven't found Wal-Mart Prizm at all, until today. So, I picked up a few Value Packs to check out the Blue Prizms. And man, those cards look good.
The same parallel seeding holds true for Wal-Mart as it does for Target - one green per value pack, and one Big-Box-specific color per value pack.
Upon opening the two, I clearly did well - Pete Maravich blue in one, and Bill Russell blue in the other, The greens weren't too shabby - Karl Malone in one, and Rick Fox in the other.
As far as Mosaics, the Wal-Mart packs have the same three-card pack as Target. There were no home runs in either.
All told, it was a decent break for $20. If I were to sell everything, I'd maybe break even at best, but those blues sure are pretty!
