2015 Topps Chrome Hanger Pack x 3

Sport:  Baseball
Product:  2015 Topps Chrome Hanger Pack x 3
Break Date:  September 2, 2015
Hit Breakdown:   Three Pink Refractors

Summary:  Since I had already opened a jumbo box and a few blasters, I decided to pick up a few hanger packs of 2015 Topps Chrome to give those a shot. I mean, why not People seemed to be landing some decent hits out of them, so I figured "why not?"

After opening them, I didn't land the big hit, but did pull a few nice cards. I do think that, at this point, Topps is overdoing the colored parallel things. With guaranteed sepia in the blasters and guaranteed pinks in the hanger packs I guess it's nice that you are getting something a little bit different with each pack, but the hunt is a little less fun when there's something guaranteed, even in retail.

I did hit a nice PC card, a Pink Yadi Molina, so at least there's that. And, the third hanger was full of pretty solid names - there was a Gallery of Greats Derek Jeter and the pink refractor pack included Pujols, Arenado, and McCutchen. But, no numbered cards or autos in any of the hanger packs.

So - a bunch of good names, but nothing to write home about here.
