2013-14 Prestige Basketball blaster

Sport:  Basketball
Product:  2013-14 Prestige blaster
Break Date:  November 24, 2013
Hit Breakdown:  No guaranteed hits
Summary:  2013-14 Prestige is the second basketball release of the season to hit the shelves in retail outlets. While it's generally regarded as being a nicer product than Hoops, the Hoops set seems to be deliver more bang for the buck.

The design for Prestige is nice enough, but one of the great things about Hoops is that Panini used a lot of photos with a wider angle lens, and in some cases used a unique image like through-the-backboard shots. Prestige goes back to the closer-cropped image, whic really don't stand out from any other release.

This particular blaster yielded a decent amount of rookies, three Bonus Shots parallels and five inserts. The inserts look solid enough, especially the Al Horford Franchise Favorites - it's got a really clean design.

Overall, this was a mediocre break from an otherwise vanilla product.
